Jim Foster is a native of Denver, Colorado and the owner of Colorado Commercial Group, LLC and Colorado Castles Real Estate. Jim Foster grew up in Lakewood, Colorado and graduated from Green Mountain High School in 1984. After high school, Jim Foster attended the University of Colorado, while working part-time for Richmond Homes as an assistant to sevaral superintendents in the Denver metro area. Jim Foster graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1988 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Real Estate.

After graduation from college, Jim Foster worked briefly for American Network Financial Services, Inc. as a General Securities Registered Representative. In 1989, Jim Foster obtained his Colorado Real Estate License and began selling real estate in the Denver metro area on a full-time basis.

Jim Foster was first licensed with Century 21 Frontier Realty in Lakewood, Colorado and shortly thereafter changed companies to join the rapidly growing start-up company Omnivest Realty in Denver. After two years at Omnivest Realty, focusing on residential and commercial sales, the company merged with Keller Williams Realty and Jim Foster chose to focus on commercial real estate with Marcus & Millichap, Inc. in Denver.

Beginning in January of 1993, Jim Foster joined RE/MAX Central, Inc. in Denver, Colorado. In 1995, RE/MAX Central, Inc. was acquired by the RE/MAX Alliance Group. In 1998, Jim Foster registered the internet domain name www.ColoradoCastles.com, an action that would have a major significance later on.

In 1999, Jim Foster married his wife Suzanne. Their daughter Jessica Foster was born in October of 2002 and they moved from Southeast Denver to the Applewood neighborhood of Golden, CO. Due to the move, Jim Foster moved his business to RE/MAX Affiliates of Golden, where he continued to focus on his residential and commercial real estate business through the end of 2005.

In 2006, Jim Foster founded Colorado Commercial Group, LLC and Colorado Castles Real Estate, where he is the Owner & Employing Broker, servicing the entire Denver metro area. The company consists of two distinctive companies working together, one specializing in the residential needs of clients and the other focusing on clients with commercial leasing and sales requirements.

Jim Foster and his wife and daughter, Suzanne and Jessi enjoy spending time off riding horses at their ranch near Wheatland, Wyoming as well as traveling, skiing and golfing. Jim Foster is a past volunteer of the Colorado Special Olympics and the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center.
